We spent the fourth of July with our friends Nick and Christy.  They live across from the hospital, which is the best location for a fourth of July barbeque.  We walked to Hester park to check out the festivities.  Of course we couldn't leave without getting a bag of mini donuts.  The boys loved them so much they licked every bit of sugar from the bag (and their hands)!  Later, we headed back to the house, where we ate, played bean bag toss, and then watched fireworks.  

A sign that summer is really here...

Yesterday was Kalen's first day of summer rec. (due to last week's rain).  He has been so excited to start "sports".  Even though he was hoping to get a uniform, he had a great time.  On his first time around the bases during kickball he made a great slide into home plate.

Here we go!  Once again I am trying out blogging.  I love the idea of being able to document our lives.  Scrapbooking has taught me to pay attention to the details of life, and I have a way to keep track of those memories forever.  The purpose of this blog is to help me along that journey, as well as allow our friends and family to take part.  I hope you enjoy it!
